When you said chinos I'm guessing you are eliminating comfort khakis like mountain khaki brand. You are wanting something more business attire.
Banana republic has some very nice ones (called Gavin or Dawson...can't remember).
Look at Peter Millar. Very comfortable

I just got some bonobos, and they are great. Be sure to get them on sale (which happens regularly) because their retail prices are a little crazy.

Yup. 30% is pretty standard for off their sale section. I think they had 40% off site wide sometime around Cyber Monday
Oh yeah, and i would order a size down on Bonobos
