If so, which one are you in and tell me the pros/cons of living there (relative to other Houston suburbs)?

Traffic sucks and is pretty cookie cutter

Schools are good and most suburbs have no major issues with crime

I live between Spring and Tomball on the north side.

I think a lot of those decisions need to depend on where you work and how much commute that you are willing to deal with.

If you can, move into to the best area without an HOA.

Chances are by early next year I will sadly be asking this question. I don’t want to move there. But I’m not giving up my great job.

I might just do what my Houston based co-workers who are working here do and just rent a tiny arse apartment and come back to Nola every other weekend

Pros: low crime, good schools, great (until recently) job market

Cons: flooding, traffic, cookie-cutter StripMall architecture, and shitty climate

Move to the woodlands, that’s where most folks on here think everyone should live.

That’s a cute response. Many of us love our family and friends and would like to still see them. I can understand why a dumbass loser like you thinks it’s dumb though

live 1 hour 10 minutes (according to Google) from Bush airport - halfway between Austin and Houston. Population of less than 10k.

So somewhere around Brenham. My guess is Chappel Hill. They make solid sausage there.

Is it the ridiculous amount of strip malls or the hot and muggy summers?

the fact that he's willing to work in Houston and take the money, but run back to New Orleans every other weekend. That's just pretty sad.

Eh I mean if he’s got parents or whatever in NOLA.. most people who have that plan when they move end up doing it like once or twice every couple months
