What exactly would make David Duke the worst person to ever go to LSU? The shite-talking? Running afoul of the IRS?
I remember my dad going to Republican party events just to vote against David Duke. I've also had friends, or at least acquaintances, who loved him. He definitely provoked strong opinions in both directions, but I just don't think "tax cheat who dislikes black people" rises to the level of "worst ever." That's a fallacious view, and one that's pretty ridiculous if removed from the context of 2024 America.
