Enough is enough, I need to get this done. See fine up close, but my vision past 10ft is dogshit. Makes night driving a pain.

I've heard all the names - Woo, Singer, Williamson, Lahaye. As of right now, I'm leaning on Woo.

Also, is it worth it to do the bladeless Lasik over traditional? What about Singer's "waveform" over traditional? Don't know enough to say if it's worth the extra

Any of you have experience with insurance helping out? I've seen people say that they don't since it's elective, but others have said they'll pay like $500 of it. Any surgeons do cash discounts?

Sorry for all the questions, want to make sure I do this right. I've searched for "Lasik gone wrong" and "Lasik horror stories" too many times and want to make sure I dont ruin my life lmaooooo

I have to get caterack surgery eventually also. my mom had both her eyes done the other day laser. she had to pay extra to get the laser but she sees great now. did not do the fancy lens just the cheaper one. was a breeze and wishes she had it done sooner. I keep putting it off because I will have to pay out of pocket unless I meet deductible it cost like 4500.00 they told her for one eye with laser and good bit cheaper if they use a knife.

Pearce did mine, he’s in same group as Woo

My insurance paid a very small portion, it was about 8 years ago so I’m not sure how much it even was

How old are you?

My doctor gave me a break down of the eyes, and seems once you hit 40ish they start to change again. So if you are in mid 30s it may not be a long term solution until you get into your 50s.

I'm pretty sure Lahaye only does PRK now. I'm not sure if that goes for all of them or just him, but that's what I was told by someone who had the surgery done a couple months ago.

I decided this last night too

I'm considering waiting until end of 2020. Open up an FSA during early enrollment and make contributions all next year to pay for the procedure.

Kicking myself for not thinking about this 2 months ago.

Are you saying you would? Dr. Woo is like 4 feet tall.

Or are you suggesting Dr. Wood, who is another doctor that practices with Dr. Woo?

I'm so confused.

I've seen both doctors and I'm still seeing them, so I guess they're both pretty good at eye shite.

Dr. Woo can be a bit... intense when it comes to eyes. She's an excellent opthalmal... opthol... ophthal... eye doctor, though. Her PA is cute as hell, too.
