I mean don't in some parts of Mexico, the gangs basically run the cities. Like the police will leave them alone because they don't want that work.
That's not really a thing here. If police show up to raid a trap house here, everyone will get to running because they're scared of the police. If Mexican bpolice raid the wrong place, they better he ready for a gun battle.

Years ago we had some guys from Mexico working for us and one of them came to work with his eye completely mangled. Asked one of the other guys what happened. Apparently they were supposed to give their paychecks to the guys who paid to bring them over from Mexico. This guy kept a little for himself and his family. The leader of the group broke the neck off of a beer bottle and placed it over his eye and twisted it several rotations around the orbital socket. He did not actually loose the eyeball but the doctor we carried him to had to put in over 100 stitches. Needless to say we became more strict in our hiring practices.
