As long as I do my job, they don't really care. I could take off at 1:00 on Fridays, and its fine.

I'd take a major paycut if I was hourly

Or maybe I'd work 40 hours

Recently transferred departments, still salary though. Before I didn't have to do anything. Now I have to send an excel spreadsheet with my time in and out each day at the office, before the 10th of the next month. Basically it's monthly excel sheet where I copy and paste 8-5 in every box.

Excel timesheet once a week with hours billed to project numbers or travel, etc.

I love travel days, automatic 18 hours.

The thing I hate filling out the most are expense reports. It's a little easier with the Corporate AMEX now though, all the charges automatically go into the system and I only have to provide a receipt if it's over $25.

Badge in with fingerprint scanner.

Most nurses are paid hourly base rate plus shift and weekend differential.

I would hate to be salary. Can never make extra money at work.

We wear a tracker device as well now so they can see exactly what rooms we are in. They can pull up our info and know exactly how long we were in a patient's room. Kinda creepy.

ETA:although once a mom tried to say I never was in their room(I let her sleep so didn't wake her up during the night). My boss could pull up my info and show her every single time I went in the room(we have to hourly round on each patient) to prove to her I was doing my job.
