What's with Louisiana people and their obsession with Sundays. You can eat shitty anyday just like you are capable of working on a Sunday.
You seem like a blast to be around.

Who here loves to eat terrible(for you) food on Sundays?
I know I can speak for Berg here as well. My girlfriend and I LOVE some Picadilly Breakfast Buffet on Essen Lane.
It's one of Baton Rouge's best kept breakfast secrets as far as quality and price but it's also a buffet! Win-Win!
$8 with unlimited drinks/juice/coffee. They have an Omelet/Pancake/Waffle station run by some old ladies who know how to cook some breakfast(there's a tip jar we usually toss $1 in). For the buffet, theres a few chafing dishes of full of Eggs, hashbrown casseroles(one with onions and bellpep and one without), meats, biscuits, and desserts. There's also fresh fruit and various cereals.
The Bacon is the best I've ever had. It's Greasy as frick and crispy as frick. And you can have 42 slices if you want. PERFECTION.
You will NOT be disappointed as the customers and food >>>>Some Golden Corral shithole.
And at $7.99 it's less than half the price of the L'auberge breakfast buffet(really good but about $20).

Does Piccadilly serve bloody Mary's?
If not they won't be in my breakfast rotation

I usually get a quesadilla with grilled chicken, steak, shrimp and veggies covered in melted queso cheese, with an appetizer of loaded nachos at the Mexican restaurant

Haha Nah. Just soft dranks, water, coffee, ernge and apple juice.
That is a variable of consideration. Usually the TIMING is what decides for us. If we're up at 8 am an hungry, Picadilly it is... 11 am, we head to brunch with booze.
Your point is valid.

I always crave a smoothie when I'm hungover on Sundays, so I get Smoothie King and Taco Bell

That Piccadilly at 8am while on my way to the dome on Sunday was legit.

What's funny is about 3 years ago, I noticed it being more busy with new clientele showing up.
Prior to that, it was very quiet in there and almost entirely older black couples and the occasional group of firemen.
What had happened wuzz...They ran a god damned ad campaign on the TV(we're cord cutters and saw it on my parents' TV one day).
We were like OHHHHH that explains it. Cat was out of the bag.
But it didn't hurt service/quality/quantity. They just got more waitresses and another cook.

My InLaws have Sunday Dinner 40 Sundays out the year, its typically not very healthy. My grandparents also had Sunday Dinner just about every week.

Hell no, I cook big good meals with plenty of bacon grease on Sunday's!

I usually try to cook a big pot of something on a Sunday, so we can pig out, but still have leftovers all week. This week was red beans with homemade tasso, with rice and cornbread. In the fall it's usually gumbo, sauce picante, chili, or stew. I'll start switching to seafood in the spring with ettoufee and courtbouillon or boiled crawfish. Mix in a jambalaya or fried fish occasionally.
If going someplace or ordering, try to go do brunch at somewhere like Mason's Grill, The Chimes, or Bistro Byronz
