Things I love about brunch:
It's not so early that I have to set an alarm on a weekend.
It's over early enough to not waste an afternoon.
A good excuse to start drinking before noon... as if I really needed one.
A good excuse to eat some fried chicken for breakfast... as if I really needed one.
Generally just sets up for a relaxing Saturday or Sunday.

I love breakfast food in general, so any time of day I can eat it, I like it. I hear ya about it restricting other options, but you are a big boy, figure something out. Maybe only play 9, or use the time change to your advantage with it staying light later.

Most brunches around here have bottomless drinks.

Brunch is awesome. Any excuse for me to drink alcohol while eating waffles or pancakes, and not be judged, then I'm all for it.

Every Sunday I go to my Mother In Laws and she cooks for the family. Never been to a brunch.
