My dick is not big enough to land an arrangement like that.

The way I see it--the more marital income, the better. You're supposed to be teammates. If you're truly emasculated by your wife making more money than you, then you're definitely a poor teammate, and you likely have a tiny dick.

I make more than my wife, but at the same time it would not bother me at all if she made more than me.
Hell, I have joked with my wife on more than 1 occasion that if when we had kids, And my wife was the one with the larger salary, that I would become a stay-at-home dad.
If when I can get my wife to step into her comfort zone and actually pursue her desired career, she would definitely have a higher earning potential than me.
She says she would never allow me to do that, though. But seriously, if your wife is bringing home 10k more than you a year, or even more than that. It would seem stupid for your wife to quit her job.

I wish my wife made more than me. She might spend less.

No, I'm not and I didn't turn it down.
Wife was in med school when we were married; I already had a master's and a good income.
When she finally got through with residency and went to work for real, she was making about three times what I made.
Twenty years later, I've climbed the ladder and now make a little more than half what she makes. I'm glad for her income, which enables us to have a fine life with nice house in an upscale neighborhood, great vacations, private schools for our daughters, and MY BOAT.
But I'm still the man of the family, and she's still a woman. She can get lost in a telephone booth, can't deal with technology or mechanical stuff to save her life, and is scared of bugs. I drive the vehicles and she rides shotgun.

I didn’t think I would be, but my ex made more money than me while I was in law school and she was working. At first, I didn’t care until she got really naggy about how I spent too much money on food for myself. In hindsight, I probably should have ate less lunches at the school cafeteria and been more vigilant about bringing my lunch every day, but at the time, it was really emasculating getting fussed at over a $2 plate of sweet peas because I was still hungry after eating the sandwich I brought. It constantly made me feel like a kid fighting with his parents over how he spent his allowance. Like I said, in hindsight, it seems really petty because our finances really were stretched thin, but her nagging at me for my meals just made me want to be a massive prick over how much she spent on holiday decorations and decorative crap that women like for the house (throw pillows, table runners, accent pieces, yard flags, seasonal plates and bowls, decorative words to hang on walls, etc.)
Not having anyone to fight with over finances is probably the number one thing I enjoy about being single.

I would love for my wife to make bank, but sadly she only makes half of what I bring home.
She is happy to be the designated driver for my drunk arse on weekends and I'm glad of it.
We're one helluva team.

I can’t wait for my SO to make that money. She’s one test away from getting her CPA. If you have a problem with your wife making more money, then you just don’t like money.

One of ex-gfs made a lot more money than me and her family was rich as f**k. It was empowering to be her boy toy.

I guess this is best asked to the guys who won’t let their woman drive them anywhere.
Is she hot? makes a huge difference
