Your post just reminded me of the SNL sketch of will Ferrell sucking his own dick.

If you're in BR you should lift at Dakmak Performance if you want to go beast mode.

Always was. Heard he has a lot of "help" nowadays though. Not that I have anything against that.

Used to DL more than 400lbs but messed my back up a few weeks ago screwing around(not lifting related but I blame heavy DLs for degenerative issues). I'll never go heavy again and I'm hoping everything goes back to normal. 24 is way too young to have back problems

I get a little sad on weeks where my routine only allows me to deadlift once. It's my favorite excersize. The CNS stimulation is the tits.

Twice a week here. I started off awful at them, but they're now my favorite lift. I'm at 350 max right now, hoping to hit 400 by end of year (I progress slower than most cause I have the genetic legs of a bunch of Kenyan marathon runners).

Do them twice a week, and I'm pretty sure that deadlifts are the devil

I do yoga and pilates more than once a week. I love being flexible.

You can increase flexibility just by lifting and using proper form.

Try with a hex/shrug bar.

I do them once a week, but its my weakest exercise. I can only do about 215. I can squat 275 though. I'm not claiming to be super strong, but my dead lift seems weak, comparably. I haven't made the gains in it, over the past 6 months, I have made in most other strength exercises.

It's a two part move in it's most basic form, and is really a hip/core exercise. Imagine the bar is on a fixed path, one straight line up and down. Activate your glutes/hamstrings on the way up and a slight hip thrust once you are over your knees squeezing your quads and glutes. When I say hip thrust, do not exaggerate this. You generate the power from your hip thrust, but if you over extend and arch your back too much at the finish it will put alot of pressure on your hip joints and lower back. Not trying to be Mr.Trainer, just trying to help you.
