My pings are from 1982. My dads blades he plays with are from 1970 I think. They are a bitch to hit but somehow he can still shoot par with them
I have a wooden three wood I just retired that is probably 40 years old

DCI's from 2002-2013
Shoot, I played DCI's from 98-2011 or so. Bought them used them as well.
Tried passing with them a month ago and was shocked how unforgiving they were. Best I shot was high 70s, but that was playing a couple times a week.

I remember watching the Shell Houston Open. Had to be around 2005-6. Fat golfer (forget name)was a Ping guy. He had the newest bag and head covers, but when he pulled those covers off it was a set of old Ping Zings. Those are still legit. I have a 2-Iron Ping Zing in my bag but I can't hit it better than a SHITTY Spaulding 2-iron. Sentimental club of a long passed away uncle. But it is my "trouble club". I can slap and curve that thing low and around the tress I frequent. Also a good par 5 lay up club if the drive was weak.

Word. I still sport the 1 iron. When I was playing a lot, I could hit it very well. Its still a great club to punch it out of the woods.

Absolutely. Line it up on the back foot and slap it. Never gets above 9 feet high. Texas hardpan helps too. Gotta shape the shot though for the 60 yards of run..

Played yesterday with my Mizuno MP-9's that I got in 1991. Was an assistant pro at the time. Sweet blades.

My BIL still plays my old Hogan Edges from the late 80's or early 90's. My current Clevelands are 6 years old.

The first week of June is the next time I'll be able to play. What courses do you normally play?
