One of my ex-girlfriends lives in Austin. She forgot what Baton Rouge is like. Easy to be woke when they aren’t in your yard.

“Woke” 150 years ago meant thinking we shouldn’t own people.

15 years ago, it meant thinking gay people should have the same legal rights as the rest of us.

Realistically it’s probably closer to 5%, but if you think rights are dependent upon population share, you’re already a TPOS. Besides, a sub-group having rights or representation doesn’t reduce your rights. Rights are not pie.

They have all the rights of straight people. Some would argue more. Have sex with whomever you like. But don’t make women use the same bathroom as some mentally ill man that thinks he’s a woman. Or swim against him.
I’ve got no issues with homosexuality. I have issues with this mandate that we treat anybody that isn’t a “normal” person as a hero in need of constant recognition and support.

I know a lot of them, especially in research settings that rely on government and not for profit funding. It basically is required.

I agree that trans female athletes shouldn’t be allowed to compete against biological females. That’s just ridiculous. And I’m “woke”.

Honestly, out of all my friends, probably about 40% have been mega-liberals for as long as I’ve known them. And I don’t really talk politics with them so who cares?
‘Woke’ comes in cascading levels. For example…When talking about gays, they call them “gays”. not LGBTQBI+$@&. But they all probably voted for Biden. That count as ‘woke’?

My cousin's daughter is a woketard. Oddly she dresses normal and doesn't have multi color hair. My goodness though the shite I have heard come from her mouth and seen her post on social media. I don't understand knowing her parents who are both conservative how she swung that far left, it must be college.
