Who has the right-of-way?

Pet peeve #563: People making their own rules... and if the script was flipped, so would their reasoning so it would always be in their favor.
Actual circumstance: Both the blue and purple vehicles arrived at the red circle at the same time. Both were headed up the same boulevard (yellow arrow). Who has the right-of-way to turn up the boulevard?

I don't see this every day.
Maybe you hesitated and got scared when you clearly have the right of way and so he just said "frick this pussy" and went. That's what I do at stop signs, if you have the right of way I give it to you but I don't play this stupid awkward game of waving at each other and starting and stopping. You start doing that and I just go, frick it.
