They should have tried to go around the world one more time but they couldn’t get over da funk.

Damn. Not a huge fan of electronic music but "Random Access Memories" was a phenomenal album.

They had a good run. I was first introduced to them by way of Interstella 5555, and 16 year old me thought that was awesome. Still do.

Not surprising as they haven't put an album out in nearly 8 years.

They are one of the most influential musical groups in history. One of the all time greats.
That being said, they are also absolute KINGS of marketing themselves, all the while keeping their faces unknown for the most part to the general public.
I could see this being a "break up" to temporarily boost album numbers, followed up by a reunion tour in a couple years. This has already worked on me, I've been playing them all morning
Another possibility is that Bangalter is actually still going deaf (claimed he was better) and it might prevent him from ever doing this again, which would fricking suck.

A music thread or a music board? And I looked, there was no thread on there at the time.
Keep being cool though.
Keep being cool though.
