Put mine on at 4:10 this morning. 13 lbs, 230-240. Kamado Joe smoker. I do 30 minutes per pound.

There ya go. Had a great smoked turkey at lunch yesterday at work...Some of the best I have ever tasted...
We are going old-fashioned this year.. The wife wants one in the oven. She pours a diet coke in the arse of said bird and its awesome..........

I'm in, mine went on the KJ at 5:30. Pouring a sazerac at 6 and letting the bird go until about 11:30.

Kamado Joe. 6 hrs usually does the trick. It's turkey not a brisket.

Yep cuts cooking time down a good bit. Never gone over 6-6.5 hrs

Been on for 7 hours now and we are at 145 degrees internal temp...should be just right in another hour or so...

2hrs in and bird is at 114° with smoker holding at 235-250°. Good, steady white smoke rolling out the back vent filling the air with the aroma of hickory.

Just checked mine, It smells awesome. Also smoked a 6 lb hen and a 12 lb pork picnic roast.
