standard Cajun injector electric one. I'd love a green egg but they cost so much.
Should get you a greaseless fryer.

Walt, you should teach your daughter how to properly smoke a turkey. Just what kind of father are you?

There ya go. Had a great smoked turkey at lunch yesterday at work...Some of the best I have ever tasted...

We are going old-fashioned this year.. The wife wants one in the oven. She pours a diet coke in the arse of said bird and its awesome..........

I would be if I was home. Smoked my turkey last weekend.

I wish I was today. What a great way to prepare meat!

I'm in, mine went on the KJ at 5:30. Pouring a sazerac at 6 and letting the bird go until about 11:30.

Kamado Joe. 6 hrs usually does the trick. It's turkey not a brisket.

get an oilless turkey fryer. Tastes great and is easy as inject, put in fryer, set alarm and drink.

2hrs in and bird is at 114° with smoker holding at 235-250°. Good, steady white smoke rolling out the back vent filling the air with the aroma of hickory.

I'm not a big turkey fan either
me neither. I injected and smoked two hams last night for about 6 or 7 hours, moved to oven around 1 am on low heat. I can smell it from my bedroom.
