Takes at least 6-7" on the ground here for a snow day home from work. I've only had one so far this season. Hopefully El Nino brings a couple more snow days before Spring is over.

I closed up shop and sent everyone home. My son has never experienced snow before so I want to share it with him. Everyone wins.

We don't close down for snow. It would take a major ice event to close us down. That is coming Thursday night, so we will see....

Any of y'all in DC/DC area? Son is there and leaving Saturday. Y'all think they'll be able to fly out? Pro Life March is Friday and that's their reason for being there.

DC metro area goes into total meltdown mode whenever snow or ice hits. I hate to say it but there's a chance they'll clam up the airports for a bit if it's as bad as they're predicting.

Got a bit of snow here in Chicago last night but it's back up to the 20s, had mostly single digits lately. Makes for a nice walk to and from work.

Pretty much anticipating that they won't be home on Saturday. Flight is at 230 out of DCA into MSY. I just hope that they don't have to sleep in the airport which I'm assuming is what will happen.

Thanks.

Have him rebook now with southwest, they have a travel waiver for changing flights for free. southwest's page

Is he flying American and over 21?

The evening bartender at the American lounge at DCA, Ben, is from NOLA and hooks me up with free strong bloody marys. From LGD and went to McDonough on Esplanade. Nice guy.

Yes, have the travel arranger call. Re-booking that many people is going to be horrible if they don't figure it out soon/before everyone else calls. Likely going to have to split up to get back. I'm on hold with American right now trying to rebook my dad on saturday's Dallas-NYC to sunday
