The southwestern egg rolls at chillis are pretty legit, but yeah, you can eat just as well from the frozen food section of the grocery. Last time I ate there was maybe a couple of years ago at the DFW airport because it was the closest place to my gate. It's a half step up from fast food. If I'm bothering to eat a sit down meal out I'm springing for something a little better.

Never near NOLA, or anyplace with better options nearby. But I eat there sometimes when traveling for work.

Whenever I'm in New Orleans, I always make sure to stop by the Veterans Memorial Applebees for some top-notch seafoood.

I still don't understand how Red Lobster survived in Kenner/New Orleans for so long. Parking lot is always full.

Honestly, until it closed last year, I would bring my kids there. It smelled like shite, but some of the food, while unhealthy and not of high quality, was tasty. And if my kids acted up or spilled shite, nobody gave a frick.

I had a black Atlanta coworker, told her I had never eaten at Red Lobster. She says, "Why, are you poor?" I just laughed.
Tried Red Lobster a few months later in Buffalo the day after we ate at The Anchor Bar. I've cooked better lobster at home.

Hadn't eaten there in about 7-8 years before a couple weeks ago. But we were tired and hungry, it was raining bad, and Applebees was close, so we went.
It was $6.99 for any burger night, unlimited fries. I have to say, it was a really decent burger, & the fries were not bad too. I would not have paid $10.49, the regular menu price, but for a step up from fast food price, it was ok.
The service was shitty tho.

I saw Bill Russell at the local one here and apparently it's his favorite spot to eat and he goes there all of the time.
