Teachers by far. I’ll admit it’s a sucky job that pays poorly, but I don’t get why teachers act surprised. They knew the pay sucked and kids are turds, and parents are idiots before they signed up. They also get more time off than any other profession so they can work a summer job if they really wanted to to earn more money. Also, if you hate it so much...quit and go do something else?

Oh nurses and they are by far the most annoying ones.

Mom is a retired teacher and fiancé is a nurse.
I know I’m bias but both were/are great at what they do. Going well above and beyond what the job entails.
In listening to them both through the years, it seems the ones who complain the most are already the most lazy. And that’s the case in any job. Theres people who expect to do the bare minimum to get by and when more is asked of them they complain.
But to answer the OP, teachers seem to have the softer gig to start so I’d go with them.

Only complaining was when the covid bonuses stopped
At least they got bonus pay. The majority of “essential” employees received no such pay, and still went in to work to get the job done.

This is why the world was a better place when women stayed home and made sandwiches

Was coming here to see if SAHM was mentioned. This place does not disappoint and is completely predictable.

My mother was a teacher and my wife is a nurse.

Teachers! All they do is complain.

Mostly Oil and Gas guys. The butthurt was strong with these guys when nurses began to be praised. Then the discussions of bonuses only aggravated them more.
Tik-Tok video observations are correct. I tell every person I work with to watch it with the videos. Hospital management does not want to see RNs making money and having the time to make videos. That is a sure fricking fire way to get sent home for cost saving or moved elsewhere.

teachers by far and a lot less necessary.
edit: just wanted to include the high level professors dont fit in the "teacher" category.
