Teachers: one of the few careers you know exactly how much you'll make before you even start college, and all they do is cry about how much they make. Even with 3 months a year off and pensions. cry me a river..
And let’s face it, nurses have some skills people outside of the nursing profession do not possess. Any motherfricker with a brain synapse can be a teacher. Just look at most teachers.

Teachers by far. My wife is a nurse practitioner at a large state university’s student health center. With COVID caused budget issues, student health took an 8% pay cut, and the retirement match was eliminated. Meanwhile, the faculty union is digging in on any pay cuts.
So yes, in our house, teachers can go frick themselves.

Mostly the table wipers in here complaining about teachers and nurses

Like I said in the other post, what do nurses and teachers have in common? Both are predominantly women who hold these jobs. Women like to complain and usually don’t even know they are doing it because they do it so much. They also like attention, so it’s only natural that those in these 2 professions bitch about their jobs. If you don’t believe me, ask my wife, her name is Karen...
Correct.
Plus women get around other women and convince themselves that whatever they're experiencing really can't be matched by anything else.
You could give 10 women a job tasting the world's finest wines for 6 figures and by the end of the second week they'd be talking about how they're under appreciated.

Teaching is a gazillion times harder than nursing. I have a medical background and have direct family members who are teachers. It's not even debatable - at least in Louisiana.

I disagree completely with this statement. I have family in teaching as well as myself in the medical field. If you truly worked in the medical field, there’s no way you would believe this. We all have stress, and bitch about our stress. The medical field is a different type of animal (not to say other professions aren’t stressful). Dealing with people every single day who don’t want to be in the hospital, not to mention in emergency situations, takes a toll that no one else can imagine

Teacher here - I love my job. I do hate that commi-libs run the teacher's unions. I refuse to join.

How about a Democrat teaching nurse who is an LSU fan and also post on the OT.
Imagine that shite.
Imagine that shite.

Teachers. Not even close.

True, my wife taught for many years, would not join a union. But the idea that teachers have 3 months off is a joke. The year end is in early June and cranks up in early August. Every night was grading and recording grades, making tests, IEP's, dealing with a-hole bureaucrats. Being called a racist by every neglectful parent.
You don't see a rush of people coming out of college to teach, there is a reason.
She liked it because she generally had the same days off as the kids, and we get reasonable healthcare for like. The pension benefits suck. Also she taught in ghetto schools mostly, a lot of abuse.

Not sure about nurses but I’ve worked in education administration for 15 years. Educators are some of the most insecure people I’ve ever met.

It used to be teachers, no?
Posted on 12/2/20 at 11:28 pm to A Menace to Sobriety
I've been around a lot of both and teachers complained more in my experience.

Right now, nurses.

The answer to the OP is teacher's spouses.

You have a pretty loose definition of whining. Talking shite on and making fun of people for being crybaby bitches is not “whining.” frick off, pussy.
