Are they actually worth any kind of money or was that the biggest fraud of the 90s?

Not a fraud at all. I’ve cashed in my beanie babies and I’ll never have to work again.

Huge fraud except if you had the rare ones that had a misprint on the tag or something like coins that are misprinted.

My wife has a garbage bag full of them in the attic. We looked up their value a couple months ago. If we sold them all on eBay we’d have enough to buy a brand new...beanie baby.

I bought a beanie baby guide book through the scholastic book ordering at school. It had the 1998 value and the estimated 2008 values. Needless to say the 2008 values were just a bit off.

The Jenna Jameson one has to be worth something.

I think the most valuable one was a dark blue elephant because they changed it to light blue after making the first 100 or so. It was worth like 10k

I had this duck looking one. I cut a hole in the back and would frick it. I was a teenager.

Basically this. There were so many of those things.
Amazing how something like that became so popular so quick. That guy was a genius managing to convince so many people that those things would be worth piles of money one day.
Hell, eBay has a shite ton of Princess Diana bears up for sale/auction. Some of those guys are asking $600k. Lmao! There's probably 20 or 30 of them for sale on there. Just imagine how many more are out there.

They’re worth a fortune now!
Posted on 11/28/18 at 10:12 pm to Kige Ramsey
I blew them up with firecrackers
Posted on 11/28/18 at 10:13 pm to Kige Ramsey
I still have mine somewhere. I think the most valuable one that I have is the Princes Diana one.
