Sometimes 2 liters are on sale and cans are not, so I buy the 2 liters.

As long as you tighten the cap, I've never noticed any flatness until at least 5 days later.

I only buy 2L sodas. I drink the hell out of Coke Zero. I hate the taste of can drinks. We all have our preferences.

Try keeping the soda cold in the fridge. Makes it hold the carbonation very well. They bottle soda at low temperatures for this reason.

I'll only buy a 2 liter if I'm binge drinking whiskey. If I'm trying to make a bottle last a while, I buy a 12 pack like a respectable human being.

I prefer 2 liter sodas. I'm not weak, so I can put the cap I snuggly. And I only take the cap of long enough to pour. So, my 2-liter sodas rarely go flat.

I often want only a small amount, so opening a whole can world be a waste.

And frugally speaking, they are the best value by far.
