Should be a funny show. Looking forward to seeing it. I got to take a picture with him when he was at Fred’s for the LSU/OM game. Very cool dude and didn’t seem like a cocky guy like a lot of celebrities are.

Anyone who has gone to a show of his, what’s it like? Will be my first time going to a comedy show.

I'm a huge stand-up fan and I've got to say Theo is at his best when just riffing on a podcast. His last Netflix special was painful for stand-up. That being said, I hope that was just a secluded case. Enjoy the show.

I was honestly kind of afraid of this. I guess doing the same show for days and weeks at a time gets old and you don’t have the same enthusiasm. For a podcast he can say whatever he wants and it’s always gonna be something different.

It cuts both ways. A good comedian should be refining his act as he learns what works and what doesn't.

Last time I saw him he sky screamed about trump for an hour and then he yelled at the crowd for eating meat

Don't let this show influence your future of seeing other comedy shows.

It is hard to seriously say an hour that makes it to a special and more or less bombs is a secluded case. There's really no excusing that. Either have the hour ready to go, or don't film the special.

Has anyone seen his stand up on this current tour? It looks like he is in KY and Indiana before coming to Louisiana.

I wonder who opens for him?

I'll report my findings, but not spoil the show when he comes through Shreveport next week.

Tonight is his first of 2 shows in Shreveport before heading to Baton Rouge.

I haven't been to a comedy show in years. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Pretty much this. He's great on his podcast, but his stand up isn't as good. Also if you regularly listen to his podcast, it can be similar topics that he uses in his standup.

Facebook must know I’m going because it keeps trying to feed me video clips of him. I figured funny stuff from his podcast would end up in a stand up so I’ve been avoiding watching them for the most part lately.

It was really good. 2 good opening acts.

Theo did a solid hour. It’s been a while since I laughed so hard I started tearing up.

Only mishap was Theo threw a little fit about people yelling halfway through the show. Not even a heckler, but asking someone in the front row a question and getting 5 different answers thrown at him from the audience.

It killed the vibe and threw him off for 2 or 3 minutes but he got back into his stride. He apologized towards the end because it did get weird for a bit.

Ive caught his podcast a few times and it’s funny enough, but almost too relatable since he reminds me of a bunch of people i grew up with in the NOLA metro … but i do remember catching him on Last Comic Standing circa 15 yrs ago (when he was still Theo Vonkurnatowski) and for some reason this one joke he told stuck with me and i thought it was hilarious .. ill probably butcher it but it was something along the lines of “You know how come im sure god meant women to stay in the kitchen- becuase he put milk and eggs IN THEIR BODY “.. or somehting like that, it probbaly didnt sound as sexist when he said it lol.. but yeah, it seems like it’s been a slow climb for him but it sure beats working for a living .
