My wife's birth name is Trudi (spelled with and 'i'). My grown son calls her Gertrude. LOL

It's definitely not hipsters. It's middle class fancy bringing Kinsley and Ryker to travel ball.

I would have gone with a family name for my son, but these were the options:
Wilburn
Clifford
Laudry
Ronnie
Lonnie

I have documented my ancestry back on every branch as far as possible. At least to my 3rd great Grand parents line and some much further back to the mid to late 1600s.
Some of the more interesting GF names include Coonrod, Reddick, Greenberry, Sanberry, and Pleasant. Maybe those were like the Jaggers and Braxtyns of today?

Going on record and saying if you name your kid Austin, he's going to end up being a shithead
My evidence: 3 out of the 3 Austin's I know are shitheads
Two out of the two Austin's that I know are absolute shitheads as well.
I think we can lock this one up as fact.

I have a realitve that gave her kid an uncommon but no outlandish name. The problem is, she unwittingly(I believe) misspelled it and gave it an unnecessary apostrophe. I kind of feel bad for the kid.

Seinfeld did an episode where George was so proud of himself for the idea that a boy should be named "Seven"
It’s a shame they stole the idea of naming a kid seven from married with children
