I don’t mind outside noises. I hear my neighbor walk her dog, can hear trucks drive by, etc. but I just don’t want my fricking house shaking because some jackass has their bass turned up to high.

In the early 90's going to Target with my dad and my sister. My dad bought all 3 of us a Discman. On the ride home my sister and dad were pumped, but I just remember sitting in the backseat thinking there is no way we could actually afford such a feat of technology
