I mean it may be true but the article specifically states funding is unknown at this time.

That is really beautiful. The statue reminds me of the old image of Lady Liberty on the Silver Dollar. How anyone can be against this is beyond me? It’s reminiscent of the Statue of Liberty in 1876 that was donated to the Nation by France. It’s fitting that private companies would donate this monument in honor of the 250th birthday of America.

Like I said earlier, that’s what he’s said but I’ll believe it when the bill comes due. Especially with rising construction costs. It also has to pass Congressional approval, privately funded or not.

How is he trolling? Seriously, I am surprised he didn't have something built his first term. Its on brand of him to leave his mark somewhere. I am not saying it as a good or bad thing, its a matter of fact.
