He did take almost 18 months to be deemed mentally competent for trial. He was convicted on 2 charges, getting 18 years if sentenced concurrently. According to their DOC website, he's currently in central Maryland detention center

The messages in twitter are saying this happened in 2020, both men were white, and they had an argument previously.

Good job on that info and glad to see that MFR got some time for that cowardly attack.
He probably shouldn`t have even been out on the streets and had outstanding warrants and a 10 mile long rap sheet.
