Many on this believe this is because White men aren't good enough, so they deserve it.
If Trump doesn't put a hard stop on h1b abuse, this nation is legit done. Sad there are people that can't see how this is no different than importing Hispanics to take blue collar jobs. They'll celebrate businesses being raided for that, but say nothing about businesses that abuse h1b visas getting their due.

Mine explicitly promotes based on race. They've openly told us that if we have a position past a certain payband, and no minority has applied for it, then HR will find a minority and place them jn the interview round.
Then, if you want to make the offer to a non-minority, you have to go in front of the Diversity and Inclusion board as to why you're not hiring the POC. The D&I board can reject your hire, and either force you to hire the POC, or they will require you to repost or leave it vacant.

I avoid them, they seem to avoid me, only had one discussion with them this year, very nice lady.
I was... not the problem.
Mine seem to like to exist in the shadows.
They are probably affecting my career, but it's hard to tell exactly how.
