You are really a fragile person if you don’t think the white person is going to LSU.

Don’t. She has a minority/victim status. Tell her to play it up and OOS schools will trip over themselves.

There’s no debate. Black female gets in and possibly has scholarship opportunities.

A is definitely getting in. B is probably getting in because LSU knows they're going to get TOPS and/or student loan money for a year or so before she drops out.

ETA: I'm not saying she drops/fails out because she's black. I'm saying she drops/fails out because a 2.0/17 in high school screams unsuccessful college career.

LSU doesn’t really reject anyone unless you don’t meet the minimum requirements.

So the white male has a 100% chance of getting in.

Where LSU needs to make a push among black students is to encourage them into stereotypical more useful majors.

If you walk around PFT or EJ Ourso you might think LSU doesn't have any black students in attendance.

On the other hand the sociology and humanity buildings look like they could be on Southern's campus.

Same thing. Formerly was known as CEBA. Now it's called PFT (Patrick F. Taylor). When they built the brand new engineering building they renamed it.

If you haven't walked around in there you should. It's probably the nicest building on campus. LSU did a good job with that one.

Do applicants get turned away from LSU? That's not a dig or a joke, I thought it was on the same tier as most other state schools in the South.

Just looked and the acceptance rate is 75%, spell your name correctly on the app and you get in. Come on man, stupid thread.

I'm pretty sure when we toured LSU last month they said the ACT requirement has been waved next year. They're looking for the "most well rounded" students and not necessarily concerned with standardized testing.

What a joke.

The black female will definitely have a better chance of getting a job first regardless of how she does in school.

Dreamer from Arizona with 2.5 and 19. They will likely get a scholarship. Fact. LSU Admin spends the bulk of their “recruiting “ budget and scholarships on these kids. It costs less for a Louisiana kid with a 4.0 and 33 ACT to attend Alabama, Arkansas , Ole Miss or Georgia than LSU.

Was going to say this as well. I don't recall hearing about LSU having a waiting list or rejecting anyone that meets whatever standards LSU may have for them
