We lost the right engine in a G58 Baron last year on approach to St Simons island, sitting right chair on the approach to 22 was intense.
Also had a door fly open at 6k ft over Mobile Bay. Non pressurized cabin so wasn’t too bad.
Take avaiation scares over vehicle/nautical scares.

you think that is something, I was on break coming across the North Atlantic a couple of years ago, had just finished a lobster salad and was shortly into a nice nap when I felt a shudder on the aircraft that woke me from my slumber, two seconds later the call chime rings, Captain we need you up front if you don't mind(engine fragged out,) ruined my break, had to stay in Kef and party for two nights

I’ve pretty much been in a Cessna 152 that lost the engine on approach near that height.
It started sputtering on us well before that and we headed back to the airport, died during the approach. It glided back pretty easy. Would of sucked if it had been a bit earlier and had to put it down somewhere else.
Had to have a complete rebuild when my dad had it inspected. I think that was the last time I went flying with him. He can’t pass physicals anymore anyway.

This kind of depends on where you are at, but this is the easy answer. Any PPL has trained for this, albeit a little higher.

In a 777?
At least you had to land in a tight country.
ETA: out of curiosity, which engine manufacturer do you prefer based on performance, longevity, etc? Our company just swapped a Gulfstream for a Global Exp and have noticed a rather large decrease in our maintenance/fuel costs.

Cessna. I hit a tree at 40. It didn't end well.
Atlantic depends on the supplies available in the boat.

Sooooooo.... car squares up on a tree doing 80. Pretty simple correction, I steer away from tree, avoiding head on collision..... slowly roll to a stop on side of road.

last place has to be the car. Your odds of survival are slim to none.
The plane seems like most likely to survive.
The boat is a big "if" depending on where in the Atlantic. If you're near a major shipping lane there's a good chance you can get rescued. Also, there's a huge variable as to whether you have any provisions. If no food or water then that sucks. "No ability to communicate": does this mean no flares or just no radio-type communication?
