Where does the wealthy part come from? I looked it up after seeing it mentioned in other thread and the per capita income is like 21k.

From Covington and not an elitist. I did grow up here though and I'm getting long in the tooth so it has changed. I could easily see why others would think the parish is stuck up.

TL James started in Ruston and they still have a lot of family there. Also a lot of random rich people...tons of banks.
