My dad had to fly from BR to Galveston and from BR to Dallas - last minute for emergency audits, stayed at the hotel with him. I think they flew from the old airfield at Independence Park. He is 88 now and we kid him about being in the cartel.

My dad did. They had a mutual friend that introduced them. My dad flew in Vietnam etc so him and Barry kind of connected on that kind of shite and remained friends for awhile until things went wrong for Barry.

I met Barry several times. Friend of the family. Uncle ate Mexican food with him a couple of weeks before he was assassinated. The next day he said Barry seemed very nervous.

I went to Baton Rouge High with his younger brother, Benjie who really worshipped Barry...and my mom was a CPA and did Brry's income taxes for years.....nothing but good things to say about him.
