Which is the most important branch of the military?

Which branch played the most pivotal role in America's military dominance in the 20th century - Air Force, Army or Navy? Who do you think will play the most important role in the 21st century? Are any of the in danger of becoming obsolete in the next few decades?

I was a Navy Seal in a previous life, but it was too much to bear. I know I can still kick some arse if need be but age tends to kick you in the vagina. Any of you Alphas can vouch for this?

Why is the Marine Corps not on the list?
And while no one would say the Coast Guard, we can at least mention them.

Has to be the navy.
Simple logic...
Can't get anywhere without them. All battle groups/ subs, carriers, destroyers etc. have their own Air Force...special ops..etc etc.
No navy...world dominance over. Can't do shite without the navy. The army..?? Pound off the coast with fighter jets, destroyers, drones etc.
Air Force..?? Navy brings them their and the navy has their own planes anyway.

The Navy and that's indisputable. One carrier can singlehandedly win a war with a small country.
Just look at this..

Navy has been the most lethal branch since boats could mount guns lol

Fighter jets don't hold a candle to the amount of damage and defense a destroyer can dish out. Not even close. In a battle group their is like 5; not to mention subs and frigates...ICBMs, tomahawks out the arse..torpedoes, cannons even fricking rail guns and laser beams now.

I think that diagram is old. I think china has 2 now. An old refurbished Russian rust can lol

I think yours is probably completely backwards.
Navy
Army
Air Force.
Army is still crucial...navy has an airforce.

I would actually project the Air Force to be obsolete within 15-20 years with unmanned air craft.

And we're building a couple more including a brand new class of carriers starting with the USS Gerald Ford.

Airforce.
Deals with cyber as well and obsolete due to unmanned aircraft? Airforce is included in that 100%

The USMC is a part of the Navy. A vote for the Navy is also a vote for the Marine Corps.
In addition to their peacetime responsibilities, the USCG has also provided vital wartime services.

Just out of curiosity, who do you think are piloting those UAVs? They're usually not flying theirselves, and they're sure as shite not launching Hellfires on their own accord. A cruise missile can be programmed to fly a specific flight profile, but a UAV typically has a human on the stick, albeit not in the cockpit.

As a former Marine, I have no problem saying this: it's the US Navy. Not even up for discussion. Without the ability to control the seas and move supplies, both of the world wars are lost.
Anyone that says the Air Force doesn't have the remotest inkling of how major wars are fought. Even in our lesser conflicts of the 20th century (Korea and Nam), how do you think all that avgas and JP fuel got in theater?
