Same.
For a longer, casual stay (beach vacations) AirBNB or the like.
Otherwise, probably a hotel. I like historic hotels, grand hotel bars, etc. However, there are parts of cities where the hotel options are slim (the Jordaan in Amsterdam, the village in NYC) so sometimes AirBNB can be a good option if you want to stay somewhere pretty specific.

Depends on the type of trip, group size, location and price
Most of the time I use hotels simply for the cancellation options, as most of the time AirBnB wants the money up front and has much stricter cancellation policies

Hotels. I used to use Airbnb, but they’ve gotten to be more expensive than hotels. It will say $60, then tack on a $90 cleaning fee, ending up spending $150 on some dudes shitty apartment.

I like staying in hotels, with a staff to accommodate you.

I’ve done three different long term AirBnBs to finish out my PT program. Did not wanna be roped into a long term lease when I was going to be leaving the state.
2 fine. One run almost like a hotel in the sense they did all the towel laundry service. Even have me two $25 gift cards during my stay, one for taking care of their cats.
One that was more like undergrad college apt living with a residency student. Also good.
One really shitty experience with a female host that was a total slob.
Have yet to do the AirBnB over hotel shortterm thing but depending on location and what’s available likely AirBnB if having entire place to self. Hotels are depressing and tight unless you’re dropping lots of coin on it.

I prefer the cheaper option in most cases.

I stayed in an Airbnb once, found cat hair on the bed. Never again.

AirBnB almost always when traveling for leisure
Mostly because I prefer to stay in neighborhoods
Never had a bad experience in using AirBnB

It really depends. Generally speaking, I like AirBnb if I'm with someone else because I like to have my own space. I don't like sharing a room with people. And even with my SO, I'll wake up early and leave the bed and move to the living room.
By myself, I much prefer hotel.
