The World Cup. The chicks in the stands wearing body paint alone make it better than the long bike race in France.

Both can be very boring, but I would choose soccer over cycling any day. For me, the only exciting part of the Tour de France is last few minutes and the cyclist are pedaling their butts off to finish the race.

The World Cup by a significant margin.
I did happen to catch the very end of the Tour De France in Paris one year... saw Lance and his team doing the Champs-Elysees victory lap. That was cool.

bicycle racing is the same as car racing. the only exciting parts are the crashes.
