I'm in the market for a Honda and their sales staff sucks too. I was there the other day talking with a salesman and as soon as I said that I wasn't buying until May, he went inside to get a card and I never saw him again. I waited for about 10 minutes then left. Looks like I'll be buying from another dealership.

I just got told 2hrs on a oil change and rotation under my service package and no shuttle service.
I'm about to tell one of the sales guys I want to test drive a car for me and take it home for an hour

I've several bad experiences with them. Most recently, their service staff. Really nice people. However, they replaced my transmission and forgot to tighten the drain bolt. So I emptied all the trans fluid and had to get it towed back (wasn't aware it was drain bolt since no fluid was left). Also claimed it was an 8 hour job, and took them over 2.5 days. Prior to this they had attempted to replace only the trans casing, and were unsuccessful in reassembling it without issues.
For their sales staff, I was also disappointed. I was looking for a very specific vehicle combo. Only one was available in the region. They stiffed me on price and trade-in, so I went to Richards. Got a better price and trade-in value, only to find that Team had already traded for that exact car (not really a hot seller). Upon calling them back, they were unwilling to come close to Richards price or trade them for a similar car. All three Dealership GMs supposedly got involved.

Royal Nissan... And it isn't close !
Was once told I needed a $300 oxygen sensor when the gas cap was not on. The final straw was when they told me my transmission was shot at 90,000 miles. I had a local transmission shop look at it and they said the computer was out, they replaced it ($1500) and 30,000+ miles later, it's still running like new.
I got a good deal on the car itself, but would not go near their service department.

Sales Dept =/= Service Dept
Also, demand a loaner or at least shuttle service.

A lot of the Ford dealerships now have a little side shop to take care of these exact things. I think it is called quick lane. They do tires, all fluids, and other random minor stuff that takes a couple of hours max. If it is anything more involved, they send it to the regular shop 100ft away

Well EVERYONE says I suck cause I bought KIAS... BUT the service at Seigen lane is premo............... Never waited more than 45 mins for ANYTHING...........

Brian Harris Jeep this past Friday quoted me $420 for a new steering stabilizer. This is a $70 part that requires the tightening of two bolts for installation.
Told them I would do it myself.

My wife recently brought a new automobile from this place and she got the package with free oil changes. The last I came it took 4 hours. I asked
If its taking up that much of your time, its not really free.

Years ago I brought my Mustang to a place on Chef Hwy. in the East, and when I picked up my car the stereo, amp, and kicker were gone (it was the early 90s).
Porsche of New Orleans has the most incredible service I've ever seen. I didn't even buy my car there - I bought it used in Texas. Needed brake fluid changed, so I called to ask how much it was. They told me the price, then told me if I get an inspection on the car (like they do prior to trackdays), which is free, they will change the brake fluid for just the fluid cost. Needed some other minor service and they brought a loaner to my house in Slidell and picked up my car. A couple weeks ago the lip of my spoiler got ripped off by something in the road, and they offered to replace it for just the price of the part, and offered to come to my house to install it. If I ever get a new Porsche, I would feel guilty buying it from anywhere else now.

I've found Brian Harris' to be very good as well...But it has to be when an oil change costs $294.50.

Moss Motors in Lafayette, their service department rarely answers the phone. If they do, they'll put you to a service persons voicemail, and they may call back... in 4 days.
It took 4 days to change a tire on my wife's car, which I let them do since it was under warranty (tire defect). They couldn't give me updates on when it would be ready, we physically had to go there and find out every couple of days.

Crown Buick/GMC for me.
I brought a GMC 2500 in for a transmission problem. (I was already upset because the vehicle only had 5000 miles). Anyway, they keep it for two weeks AND then tell me they don't even have a transmission specialist on staff.
F that place.
