Samsung at Best Buy for $750 - 2160p, 4k UHD, motion rate 120 64.5" screen, built in WiFi

LG at Target $799 - doesn't say 2160p (is this assumed?) 4k UHD, motion rate 120, 60 Hz, built in WiFi

Which one, or another brand?

*I’m asking because current one is a Vizio and it has dark spots after 1.5 years. Want best picture and durable

I've taken a screenshot of your post and forwarded it to my interior decorator from my iPhone X. I'll post his update shortly.

Samsung. Got one myself a year ago and haven’t had any issues at all. Great picture when using 4K and UHD with the right platforms. Netflix, Xbox, etc

Not a very good picture for fast action scenes. 240 motion rate is worth the extra cost, IMO.

I hate hearing stories about new tvs messing up. I have a nearly ten year old Westinghouse with no issues. Except only 720p. (Bedroom tv)

Had an office with 10+ Samsung monitors. 8 failed in under 4 years. Call me gun shy but I steer away from Samsung.

I have had ridiculous success with LG. If it’s in the ballpark I’ve gone with them and have always been overly impressed. All working to perfection, oldest is 10 years.

Get the biggest curved screen Samsung you can possibly afford.

Go to best buy and Sam's and Costco and look at all of them. The Samsung will have the best cleanest clearest picture, Guaranteed. LG is not the set you want to put your money into. If you cant take one look and decide that, you need glasses or (as they say in Mississippi, you need to have your Cadillacs removed.
