Tell me how I know you haven;t been to these areas in Baton Rouge in years...

They're building 7 figure houses all over Goodwood right now.

Mid-City/Government street Capital Heights is Booming.

Granted Broadmoor could be better but is hangin on Ok.

Kind of jealous of you mid city baws

It’s so vibrant and diverse there and you can walk to drag shows every day of the week

After all, LSU is an LGBTQ+ supporting school. More woke than A&M, and that’s a fact.

If you work on Bluebonnet, live on S Bluebonnet Blvd or in Jefferson Terrace/Inniswold Estates.

Precisely. It’s funny how LSU fans nag on A&M fans because they think A&M is an ultra-woke university when they don’t even realize that LSU is an ultra-woke university as well. Cognitive dissonance is real with corn dogs.

No one thinks A&M is ultra-woke. Everyone knows A&M is ultra-weird.

I was really disappointed when I saw that lsjw spent 100 million building a new “safe space” on campus

Some advice from a former Southdowns resident, take a ride through there after a heavy rain and make sure the spot you rent doesn't have a completely submerged yard after a good rain. Been a few years since we left but lot of plugged up drains/ditches, and the newer houses being built up sending water to the lower lying ones.

Luckily we were on piers and just had to scoot the cars up the driveway a little. Other people around us got water in their front door multiple times.

Maybe some of that has been remedied recently but I'd doubt it.

I know, it is disappointing. It’s a travesty that such a prestigious and highly-ranked university like LSU would stoop to such a low level. So incredibly sad.

They aren’t ranked at all anymore. The University of Louisiana is the flagship now

I wasn’t gonna let my kid go to lsjw when I saw they make all incoming freshmen take 12 hours of “diversity and lgbtq training” classes

The first thing I would do is ask your employer if you can work remotely and move out of the state.

Anywhere? I'd live where I live now. I hope I never leave here until I'm old and can't physically do it anymore.

But if I found myself single and looking for a small single person house, I'd want to live on Park Blvd. I think that is one of the most charming streets in town.

There's a house on a massive amount of land over there that has been on the market a while. It's very nice land.
