I had a 3 month old. I’d have been holding a baby on the couch.

At Sherlock’s happy hour in Austin waiting for my buddy to get off work to come join us. (I got off work at 2 pm those days.) Or talking to my future wife on MySpace. It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

Semi-retired from my first stint in Silicon Valley. I was living in the Hollywood hills about a mile up the road from Sunset. My house was party central for my circle of very unimportant people working in the entertainment industry.

I would be coming to grip with the fact it’s time to be a grown up. Two young kids and a wife.
I was wild until around 2004.
Man it has been a good ride.

I'd still be at work but probably meeting my wife at either the Chimes and sitting next to you at the bar or the Bulldog. We alternated those places - not every Friday but 3 out of 4 Friday's a month probably.
Probably only one or two Friday's a month these days.

Gutting Katrina houses by day, drinking myself under the bar by night, occasionally waking up the next morning next to a strange woman. Made cash, blew cash. I miss those days, and I also don't at all.
