This thread is hilarious. I guess all the posters who were shitting their huggies or still in dad's ball bag are out enjoying their Thursday.

Doing shite I shouldn't have been doing. My dad passed away the year before. I was in college and if I recall I was excited for the future.

I remember reading about the future with the internet and all the possibilities there were and would be because of it. It was a good time for music and movies. I am not saying this as if it was perfect because no time in history is ever perfect, but looking back from today, there was a lot more connection with people. I can't remember if most people had cell phones by then or not, but cell phones were just that.. I remember them being more of a safety tool. You had it in case you broke down in an area where there wasn't many people around.

Thinking about it, I didn't start using texting as a normal form of communication until the mid 2000s. But I was 19.. So I was doing things 19 year olds did

Had graduated from Alabama in December of 1998. Moved back to Pittsburgh for a job with an advertising agency. Young, working in the ad business. money in my pocket and living in a somewhat lively city. It was a fun time to say the least.

I was in the Air Force reserves as well. Fast forward a few years and I was in Afghanistan and then Iraq. Those were not fun times.
