Yeah, it's very convenient to nothing.

True, but at least there's a four lane going to Maurice instead of Bonin and Chemin, which are basically horse trails coming from the north.

I see it as 167 is equivalent to ambassador with little feeders like E. Broussard. I could be wrong as I can get to river ranch in about 15-20 from Broussard in the morning. I had some meetings in Houston and stayed at a friend's house. Holy hell that was tracfic

Plus, home prices didn't really start shooting up a lot until about 2001 or later. Thankfully we had made our move in 2000.

Where are you building? There was a lot for sale not too long ago in that really nice gated neighborhood off of pinhook going towards Broussard.

With all that land out there they could have at least built parking lots big enough to be able to park and drive around them comfortably.
Not to mention, I've never been to a sports complex that had as many "donors" and advertisements as that one. Plus they charge $4 for a fricking bottle of water, where all others only charge $1. That place must really be hard up for money.

I bought in 2003 and it seems like prices really shot up right before and after Katrina in 2005. Never really came back down

From what I've heard they ended up way over budget. It's pretty ridiculous that every little part is sponsored by someone, and they still had to pass a sales tax for it.
Not to mention the traffic around it especially if you're trying to pull out of Detente Rd. is horrendous. They won't put a traffic light, well because Youngsville doesn't have traffic lights.
