take that back 300$ for a HALF chord. Which they are selling a HALF FACE CHORD.

I need to invest in a log splitter and chainsaw and make some extra side money. Invest 1k on a gas log splitter and a few hundred on a decent chainsaw make about 10k in a week or so with those prices. Only problem is the wood wouldn't be dry. Have to do it in preparation for next year...slowly stack a shite ton throughout the year in my spare time

USFS has a ton of lodgepole pine beetle kill piles up here from their wildfire prevention clearing you can take your chainsaw to and fill the bed of your truck up for $10.

I remember as kid one cold winter my dad didn't want to buy a chainsaw and there was an ice storm coming (94 ice storm). We took turns with an axe felling a small tree then chopped it up and split it with a wedge for firewood.

Never again. frick that shite

What area are you in? My son has been delivering firewood on the northshore for several months now and has a good bit.

That's why I always buy firewood in the Spring. Stack it and let it season while I burn the wood I bought the previous Spring. You have to plan ahead, dude.

Better question is why do you have a fireplace and no firewood?

I get mine from Rouses. They have a shite ton sitting out front their store around this time of the year.

Rouse Juban had like 5 full pallets last week. Not a single bundle in sight today.
