im not wasting my time reading the article but it’s funny the mayor of Cleveland is leading this and mayor of New Orleans is attending. If they focus on their cities a little more maybe they wouldn’t be a joke.
Also would love to see Teedys carbon footprint for all these climate conferences.

If she's not in New Orleans, it's money well spent.

As a public servant, you must take mandatory online courses that pretty much are check the block on ethics.
One instance i am directly aware of is a public high school principal that has direct kin working under him. This is a direct violation of ethics. And I am not talking about 1 "Oops i forgot she was my first cousin" type shite either.
Louisiana is corrupt from its core and nothing will ever change my mind as we see this every single day.
I thank God above everyday I didnt take the job I was offered in the New Orleans PD almost 30yrs ago. It stunk then and it stinks now!

I don't think non accounting folks understand how much more monitoring is flexed on private sector employees regarding investments than it is on public officials. Every, single, transaction I executed when I worked for Big4 was tracked and monitored. I couldn't get hired without divesting some positions. Am I on a board of a non profit for deaf kids? I have to state it. But, on the other side, be Mayor of MSY and like Fanni Willis, just flip the bird and move on. No consequences.

Latoya is exemplary of all that is wrong with elected lesdership.
When takes the notion of public servant and turns it on its head.

The cleveland mayor looks like one of those nerds who just looked like a nerd but really wasn't that smart.

Regardless of your opinion on "climate change" I think we can all agree that a bunch of mayors meeting to come up with solutions is a waste of fricking time and money.
There are factories in China with a greater impact on the climate than the entire city of New Orleans, unless we are talking about dead bodies emitting greenhouse gases.
That’s a great post sir.
