I remember people called it the Plymouth caramel because they thought it was a sweet ride.

I drove an '86 my sophomore year at LSU in '88 with 50k miles on it (gifted by my parents). It was horrible. Sold it a year and a half later as the transmission was about to fall out. A complete piece of shite and the reason I won't buy American cars to this day.

Not as high as the Chrysler Cordoba with rich Corinthian leather.

In a thread about sedans, two coupes have been posted as better options.

As for the OP, I'll have to brush up on my all-time domestic sedan rankings before I can accurately rank the Caravelle.

Father in law had that same whip in sky blue. He even had an extra trunk lid, just in case!

One of the worst cars from the worst of the big 3 during the malaise era.

Light it on fire.

With the exception of GM pickups, Suburbans, and K5 Blazers. That’s hands down my favorite truck body style.

It's one of Crysler's K Cars. They all sucked. The government bought a bunch of them.

The quintessential grandma car or Fleet Car*.

*Or, more correctly, a quasi-mobile Fleet enema.
