I'd move my army one person at a time illegally crossing into the Us and have them pose as immigrant workers. In smaller towns I'd have 30-40. Larger ones there would be hundreds, and thousands.
This country has mostly cities consisting of 10k or less. Your first line of resistance would be a police for that has 10-20 officers.
I'd have all my forces attack infrastructure and govt buildings in each town they have become entrenched in. Now imagine the national guard trying to respond to every city in the state. They would be stretched so thin there is no way they could stop the uprising.

I think you overrate the willingness and ability of street thugs to fight this kind of battle.

You don't invade the US with troops.
But if you do, you invade Mexico first...then work your way up through the west coast.

The perfect invasion is decades long. Start by immigrating in, running for public office and changing the education system. Commies are already doing it.

The invading force would need to take a city that would kill the moral of the US.
Chicago would be easy to contain due to its position on Lake Michigan.
I guess Milwaukee would be apart of this too.

The South. All they have are guns. Take out the Wal-Marts and it's just like the Civil War. They'd be forced to surrender. The West coast and north have more people and way more resources to turn an invasion away.

I would start in Louisiana. With the French background, they would be an easy target for surrender.

Well, supposing I had the required air, naval, and land forces to make such a venture feasible, I'd hit the beaches somewhere around Destin-Pennsacola-Panama City. They offer nice wide open easily access to perfect beaches to get my invasion force on land. My next move would be to take the Port of Mobile. This would give me a deep water port to support my invasion. Next I'd start advancing north and east to take Birmingham, Chattanoga, and Atlanta while cutting off Florida. I'd use the Appalachian Mountains to guard my left while first reducing Florida to my south and then starting the advance up the Atlantic coast through the Carolinas to Washington. I'd cut off DC and take first Baltimore and Philly. Once DC was secure, if what was left of the US still had not thrown in the towel, I'd concentrate my forces to march through Pennsylvania and New York to take Buffalo, NY, thus cutting off all New England. I'd give them a choice of being starved and bombed into submission or suing for peace.

Id start in the south. Dumb rednecks are easier to manipulate. Just line up a bunch of their hot cousins, and kill them while they are drooling over themselves

Biggest flaw is getting your forces into the Gulf of Mexico undetected.
Instead of Mobile port it would be better to use the port of Jacksonville

Most of them would probably join the oppressors. Doesn't do much good to have large numbers of people if most are wusses.

If they come to US soil, which was my interpretation of the thread, I don't think the fight would last long. We'd light up homelands and protect our soil like nobody has ever seen. Wrong?
