Do you feel it's ridiculous that certain words or statements are censored/altered, or do you feel it's necessary?

Words are weapons and if you use inappropriate ones to marginalize people then you're literally worse than Hitler.

I'd rather my 7-year old not have to hear certain things while we are watching a random primetime show on one of the 4 major networks.

By and large it's ridiculous. However, like with most things, there are exceptions.

My opinion is that all of the censorship is unbalanced and jacked up. Why is it OK to show murder and rape yet saying "shite" is over the line? Same thing with sex and nudity. Why is it more offensive to see a naked tit versus someone getting their head bashed in?

If anything pejorative language should be exposed.

But good luck explaining to your daughter/granddaughter/niece you voted for a guy who thinks he can grab women by the pussy

What about voting for a woman who left people to die when they asked for help?

not hard for me since every female in my family voted for him too

Explaining voting for a corrupt vile personification of evil would be harder I would think.

"N-Word" as a euphemism sounds like a bunch of third graders whispering at recess.

Yup and in 20 years when your 10 year old daughter/grand daughter/niece ask you about it you'll all be too ashamed and lie and say you didn't

Anyone who feels the need to censor language is a dumb count.

Did you vote for Bill back in the 90s? And if not, would you have as opposed to his opponents?

lol I still don't get why that is censored on here. Seems like it's a "grandfathered" type of joke nowadays.

its fine in certain contexts but I HATE when they replace curse words with language nobody would us in real life.

Like don't call you damn show Mind Freak when we all know damn well you wanted to call it Mind frick. If you can't call your show Don't Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23 don't fricking call it Don't Trust the B instead.
