Like the USMC is under the Dept of the Navy, the “Space Force” would likely fall under the USAF since the USAF is already conducting the work.

The rockets that got us to the moon and the majority of the space shuttle and ISS engineering were done at Marshall Space Flight Center on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville. It is not called "The Rocket City" for nothing.
ETA: The Missle Defense Agency also has headquarters in Huntsville.
