I remember when Glen's Bombay Club was responsible for many divorce lawyers doing well.

A friend or an acquaintance I’d guess. The lover (male or female) is usually a friend first and that develops into the affair.

My wife could never find time to have an affair, working late at work every night like she does...
LOL... I'd say 99% of affairs start at the workplace.
Personally, I could never fathom doing it. It NEVER works out for men. Just put it in the spank bank and move on, or get a divorce.
