Where can I buy Kerdi boards for bathroom remodel in BR?

As the title suggests, I’m looking for recommendations on where to buy Schluter Kerdi boards and membranes in the Central/Baton Rouge area.
All I know is that Lowe’s didn’t have it in stock locally. I bought the niches from Amazon.
Also now would be a great time to air your grievences or praises for this system because I’m considering using hardiebacker boards and I’m a bit perplexed how to make it flush with the surrounding wall since it has to be furred out due to the tub lip.

We used it in all my bathrooms when I built 10 years ago. We installed on drywall, What purpose do you need the boards? I think Pro Source Flooring sells it

I've installed over hardibacker and it takes a long time for the thinset to dry between the membrane and backer board. I would recommended it over drywall.
Are you going with the Kerri drain too?

Kerdi is a waterproof membrane typically used in shower enclosures. Far superior to any other method when it was introduced. It's very difficult to install and very pricey. 10 years ago it wouldn't be unheard of for someone that knew how to install a Kerdi shower to charge $10k+.
Last shower I built for my current house I went with Laticrete products because they were cheaper. If I had to do it again I would just use off the shelf Redguard from Home Depot.

I only built one kerdi shower enclosure and thatwas over 10 years ago. Back then the recommendation was over drywall. My mother in law insisted on Durorock. It worked just took a longer time to cure the thinset.

The boards are an alternative to concrete boards and considered easier since you can cut with a box cutter, they work better with the thinset + membrane, and increase the systems effectiveness.

Are you just putting it for a surround? It comes in a roll and works great. It's pretty much what all installers are using now and isn't hard to install. You basically paste it to the wall. You can fur out with just about anything, ie sheetrock, hardi board, and Kerdi over the fur out. If you doing a whole shower, the pan needs to be left to professionals.

I would imagine depot has it. they stock way more professional stuff than Lowe's. You could Amazon it in two days. LINK

I know, but you don't have to use the boards to install a shower, just the fabric and drain kit
