In the same sentence you literally associated projection with certain. That's what they do. They make PROJECTIONS. You are the one putting words in their mouth by claiming they were "so certain".

It’s a long way from the projections. Projections that were INCREASED after the first hurricane because the “experts” were so certain of an overactive season. It’s fear porn and they should just admit they don’t know and don’t try to connect everything to climate change. When it’s all said and done, they will still blame climate change for their bad science.

Interested in learning your comprehensive scientific analysis proving your conclusions. My masters is engineering physics, some graduate level studies in physical oceanography. I know enough to know atmospheric thermodynamics is beyond my skill set, but feel free to express your thesis in as detailed physics or engineering terms as you wish.

But I doubt you have that ability because you sound like a scientifically illiterate dumb arse.

Sounds like you shouldn’t be making hurricane predictions either, Einstein.

It is weird how many people in here who seem very level headed elsewhere are upset.

I guess the overall thought is "I'm not superstitious, but on the off chance that this has some sort of effect, what is even the point of saying it"

I still think how many people are legit kinda of upset with you is funny.

Here’s a question for you then, DaVinci. Why even make the predictions at all? What purpose does it serve? Anyone surprised by a hurricane is a fool.
Louisiana averages 27 tornadoes a year. If the experts predict 40, would you wear a helmet and flack jacket every day? If the experts predicted 10, would you pull the trigger on that new single-wide you have been debating?
If you’re half the scientist that you say you are, then you, above others, should understand the absolute voodoo baked into these projections.
